Shirley Briscoe passed away at her home in Gibsonia, Pennsylvania on Friday, October 21, 2022 with her family by her side. Shirley is survived by her two daughters, Lawren and Kia Briscoe, as well as granddaughter Lennox Bowden, step daughters Lori Briscoe and Treena Mathews, two sisters Helene Lobas and Donna Albert , one brother, Lester Stine and many nieces and nephews. Shirley was born in Hazelton, Pennsylvania to the late Aurelia and Lester Stine.

In late 1963, Johnson also launched the initial offensive of his War on Poverty, recruiting Kennedy relative Sargent Shriver, then head of the Peace Corps, to spearhead the effort. Pat will long be remembered as the high school cheerleader who in 78 years never lost her spirit, even in the face of adversity. “I never heard her complain” is a mantra that friends and family attribute to this selfless, giving, God loving woman. Family and friends will be received from 2 – 4 PM and 6 – 8 PM on Wednesday, August 4 th . A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Alphonsus Church (St. Aidan Parish) in Wexford on Thursday, August 5th at 10 AM with internment immediately following. Samantha Lou Honaker, 48, of Bradshaw, WV, passed away on Monday, October 10, 2022 at her home.
